The company’s origins can be traced back to 1970 when the Maharaja of Jamnagar tasked Late Shree Jagjivanbhai Karsanbhai Chandra with finding a solution for inoperative golf carts. Recognizing an opportunity to address the region’s growing transportation challenges, he ingeniously repurposed the carts’ engines to power an innovative three-wheeled vehicle, known as “Chhakada” among Saurashtra natives.
