An Inception of Remarkable Legacy

The company's origins trace back to 1970, when the Maharaja of Jamnagar entrusted the late Shri Jagjivanbhai Karsanbhai Chandra with finding a solution for non-operational golf carts. Recognizing an opportunity to address the region's growing transportation needs, he repurposed the carts' engines to create an innovative three-wheeled vehicle, popularly known as the "Chhakada" across the Saurashtra region. This pioneering initiative laid the foundation for Atul Auto Ltd., marking the beginning of a remarkable journey in mobility innovation.

Incorporated as Atul Auto Private Limited (Jamnagar)

1992

Established the Rajkot manufacturing facility for three-wheelers.

1996

Launched 5.36 crore IPO; Listed on Bombay Stock Exchange

2000

Launched the Atul Shakti, a 0.5-tonne three-wheeler.

2008

Secured an export order for 4,500 vehicles from Nigeria.

2009

Launched the rear-engine three-wheeler, Atul Gem, across India.
